Dutch Design week >> Kröller Müller museum

I've made the plan yesterday to visit the Dutch Design week in Eindhoven. I've never went there so this year I really want to go.

But there where no trains between Amsterdam and Utrecht, so we borrowed a car. But while driving on the A2 we found out that the A2 was closed at 'knooppunt Deil'. We had to make a detour. But at both detours the traffic was stuck. After 1,5 hours and still not further than Zaltbommel, we decided to go to the Kröller Müller museum. We drove in the neighbourhood of Nijmegen, so why not! The weather was beautiful and perfect for a bike tour trough Park de Hoge Veluwe. It was a good alternative that day.

It was my second time at the museum. The collection is beautiful and the garden looked very nice during the sunny autumn day, but the interior (the halls and the restaurant) of the building gave my boyfriend and me the feeling that we where in a crematory. There could have done so much with the building and it's too bad that it looks like this.

I'm glad that I've seen the work of Umberto Boccioni again. I'm really fascinated of it because the first time I saw it in a book, it looks so big. But in real life it isn't.
